quietivity
By tallygrowsome
if you can break a silence
you can kill a beast.
a sabre-toothed, lumbering jackal
that has us by the throat.
do i need to be the brave one?
because the only words i have in store
are goodbyes, babe
and that would breed a creature
so much harder to slay.
i don't have any kind words left.
it's your turn.

It's true...some are hard to slay when miles away.

Everyone needs to play their part and put in a little effort, or it really is all pointless. Great read, much enjoyed.

There is wisdom in silence and sometimes we need a reassurance that may never come, yet we linger in false hope. Good luck TGS, cheers!

This is simply, also intricately put. You're bitter but you do not let it consume you. This is beautiful and honest and I love it.

There's something young yet older than your years in your words. You could be any age. There's a silent witness in you, some part that feels every single shift in emotion, every refraction the wind exchanges with water. You harness change and harbour it within, picking the most intrinsic parts of it to write. Everything is so serious with you. i like that.
