Scars in the Sky

By EMOheart

Nightly, it seems, I sit awake and cry,
As in my mind, I again watch you die.

When you left me to join the stars,
Yours became the deepest of my scars.

Your loss cut deeper than the sharpest knife
And I shall bare your mark for the rest of my life.

In your absence, I will go on
I'll live and cope with you being gone.

For I know someday, I will finally die,
And join the scars up in the sky.

I'm sorry Sis!! I know you miss him, I do too. Remember, you will again see your bluehaired wonder some day :) and he is more than likely waiting. And watching.

The entire poem was good up until the last time...after that it became beautiful. The last line ties this piece together and tugs at emotions. i thought this was marvelous and i loved the title as well.
