Natural Seduction

By Pryzm

Grasping the edges of our horizons
she holds firm, aching for one last look
in voyeuristic temptation,
fulfilled - with a kiss.

‘Tween lovers aching
for stretched shadows,
blending into the night’s security
of private darkness.

A sunset’s kiss slows time
as she claws at the horizon
for one last glimpse of loving
lips caressing a day’s end.

The last wave across
our horizon carries her colors
to entwined souls making love
to her rainbowed ripples.

As she slips beneath our
horizon in anticipation
of what the new day’s
sunset may bring.

Author's Note:

My best friend sent me this prompt, " The sunset wave over Mother Earth Horizons." I don't know where her head was at but I'm sure it was during a sunset. So, I injected myself into what I think her vision was - and this is the result.
