Nothing Left

I don't usually notice flaws
right away.

Infatuaution is a hell of a thing,
its like crystal meth, makes you
feel what isn't there.

But like a drug, infatuation wears
off and just like a drug, the after 
effect takes course.

Feeling pain, not physical but 
emotional, the worst kind.

There's that word again. I long
for the day to feel nothing. Not
love, not lust.

What is it for?

Breaking the weak?

Building the strong?

Whatever it may be, it comes at
much too high of a cost. 

For love my dear, that's something
I no longer possess.
