Amica Carissima

By Pryzm

‘Twas no small wonder, ‘ore
then a decade past.
Thoust emerald smile
opened min heart.

Thou hast brought
a warmth of no equal.
Thine physical pain
I pray thee comfort.

Look upon those who
love you – in their eyes.
Thou hast a love
contagious in life.

To those who seek
an open heart.
Of which thine emerald
gaze brought to bear.

Oh, Amica carissima
thou hast made me.
