Dancing In December - The End..

By Cant walk away

The sun had risen but the clouds did not give way.
Though it was cold they went to the hill that day.
The air was thick, as the flakes started to fall.
They held each other close, it didnt affect them at all.
A sway started a dance, and time stood still
The snowflakes frozen in air bending to their will.
Though it was December he pulled a flower from his ear.
Forget me not, Forget not how I love you my dear.
Her lovely blue dress blew lightly in the breeze.
A smile crossed her face, then she fell to her knees.
With panic in his eyes and worry running through him.
He scooped her up and ran for help, though hope was dim.
With every haggerd breath she took he stayed by  her side.
They tried every option, within three weeks she died.
He burried her upon that hill beneath their favorite tree.
He stood there weeping, a lonley grave, and fell to his knees.
Why had God taken his love he could not understand.
He wouldn't, he couldn't for he was just a man.
He placed a kiss upon a rose that was blacker than his heart.
His soul was filled with torment from the way she did depart.
He held the rose to his chest until he saw the stars and moon.
He placed it on the ground, one more promise, "Baby, I'll join you soon.
Forget me not my love, I'll be there with you soon."
