Wedding Night
By Pryzm
Sunset ignites a fiery sky.
Spray of a timid sea,
Salt on your lips.
The columns in a row,
Standing tall.
Strength by desire,
Against impending night.
Shadows melt into the sand,
Lovers envelop
passion.
Through broken
rock,
Empty of purpose.
Blazoned orange fingers,
Reach to
the sky.
The hand of Zeus,
Picking the strings of
Saturn.
A mandolin tunes the twilight.
Sparkles of heaven,
Guttering the evening.
Darkness falls to night.

"Darkness falling to the night" creates a very well imagined vision of white satin sheets dusted with the sands of passion, and brought me full circle to the start for a second enjoyable read. Thanx be unto you for sharing such tenderness =}
