Anonymous

By Abbyernathie

In a crowded room,
I stand alone.
No one seems to notice
That I’m on my own.

You pass by me
You don’t look my way.
You ignore me
When I have something to say.

You don’t know my name,
Not that you care.
When I try to fit in,
You turn to stare.

You think you’re better,
But I know it’s fake,
Cause actually, you’re just like me,
Anonymous in the wake.

absolutely true. We are all in that same wake, swirling behind it trying to find out feet. I like how this sounds like a song, quick lines with a regular rhyme.
