Baby, Blue Sky
By metaphormachine
Sunshine
falls on the district
one jogger runs
by me
the brown / white dog
of a possible
neighbor / nightbar
sniffs only
shortly after my anxiety
then the sweet hard
sound of the express train.
Even before the possible achievable
horizon, calculable
(in those days)
audience question
How far it is away from us?
the horizon
the express train.
Probably closer than you might think
an encounter none
strange attitude
high-speed rail
from the opposite direction.
Friendships may be so beautiful
happened to friends at my elbow
on an old bench
under baby blue sky
tunnel system.
Regional transport, privatization
tags
transport in regions
a comet flight
drift thru our solar system
at the old bench.
The passengers linger after stowaways
in the tail
probably quick-thinking destined
wet behind the ears
baby, blue sky under
still or meanwhile ever
yet the train is delayed
the comet
the train
past.

That first stanza is breathtaking. Then you are reminiscing at how you were so amazed by your first shared trips on the magical train, Reencountered and explored again very vividly . I really enjoyed this. X x
