Lonely dispair

By DePriest

Forgive my hands that are shaking
that's why I have hidden away

I'm ashamed for you to see me now
it shows how far I have gone astray

Each day is a constant struggle
darkness battles against the light

I don't know why you love me
but it keeps me in the fight

I'm tired of the dark
I hunger for the sun

In the light you'll find me now
the battle is almost won

Keep me in your prayers
show me that you care

Extend to me your hand
shortly I will be there.

Thanks Shadowking, was from a much earlier stage in my life. But the true meaning is there is always hope no matter how lost you may feel at times.
