The Worth of a Man
By Daryl Bracken
The worth of a Man
Is measured by small events in his life
It is measured by the preaching of rules
That though life you will needed to know
It is measured by laughter and giggles playing
With his children in fresh fallen snow
It is measured by boo- boo kisses that
Made the pain go away
It is measured by the tears that he shed
On those times that you stray
The worth of a man is not measured by his girth
Nor is it measured by how much he is worth
It is not measured by the looks of his wife
The worth of a man is measured by the things
He instilled upon those he loves through his life

Beautiful, utterly beautiful. This work gives me hope that not all men are mindless animals... unlike the men I've exposed to... thanks to my mom.
