The Light... I See it.

"Our Father...
...who
art in Heaven..."
I prayed silently to myself
as I realized where I lay.
I'm
in hell...
Aren't I?
No...
I'm in
his hands
while they clench my neck.
I can't breathe.
"Just kill
me!"
I tried to shout...
all that came
out was a painful whisper.
I looked into
his eyes.
They belonged to the man I love.
Tears fall from my eyes
as I realize how close death is
becoming.
I closed my eyes...
ready to go.
Suddenly... I was
numb.
With my eyes still closed,
I reached out...
and took hold of a warm hand that illuminated
bright,
red light through my closed eyes.
I walked foward as this man comfortingly said;
"Come my child. You are free"
