+I Don't Want to be a Rockstar+
By ExaCute
I've been sitting here for hours
Trying to think of something to say
all the words just fall under the table
My lyrics just wasting
away
I'm singing into the microphone
My voice it can't be heard
I've written poem after poem
And songs with out the words
i don't want to be a rock star
i just want my voice to be heard
I'm not just your average girl
i can make it in this world
i
can fight all of my battles
i can win my own personal wars
If
only you would let me
Please just hear my words
I've been
spending all my time
Watching seeing the world
threw different
eyes
Some call me an out cast
But I've seen the art in people's
lives
They try and change me
rearrange me
Make me like
all of them
but this girl is something different
And changing
her would be a sin
i don't want to be a rock star
i just
want my voice to be heard
I'm not just your average girl
i can
make it in this world
i can fight all of my battles
i can win
my own personal wars
If only you would let me
Please just hear
my words
I've seen all the hatred peering at me
I've seen
the darkness drawling me in
I've been pushed down
ran over
Stumbling threw life like a bad hang over
But I'm standing tall
because of them
They try and cripple me
destroy me
Take away any and all of my glory
but i will never let them win
Because baby this is my story
i don't want to be a rock star
i just want my voice to be heard
I'm not just your average girl
i can make it in this world
i can fight all of my battles
i
can win my own personal wars
If only you would let me
Please
just hear my words
i don't, i don't want to be a rock star
i just want my voice to be heard
i just want to be heard
