+Questioning My Sanity+

By ExaCute

When all of the world seems grand
You break down and tell yourself this isn't who i am
You close your eyes and try and wish it all away
Knowing well that everything really isn't okay
You push away the ones you love
Because you don't want their sympathy, their love
You just want to waist away in your own misery
Because misery loves company
And your the special guest
You can wish away your sanity
and claim that madness is your home
But even in your insanity your still always left alone
Darkness can be your only company
but it will never change
It will leave you trapped, alone, in an iron cage
And even if you manage to break free
Do you really think you can just plant a new  seed
Start over, live life with glee
No
Your only hanging on by a thread
When will it break?
Even this question beats me

What's even worse is when someone tries to tell you to snap out of your misery and get angry at you for it. Nicely written. Thanks for writing.
