thousand shots

By Little_Zombie

Time took a backseat to my life

Freezing hell over pushing me away

Then the lights went out and the world paused

Hitting the speed bumps with the breaks on

Causing drama everywhere I go

Lacking from the air that is cutting me off at the head

Suffocation me killing me slowly watching the life faded from my eyes

The life I never had thanks to you

Viewing the world at the bottom of the bottle

Running in circles chasing my pointless dreams

It feels like I’m nailed to the floor and my mouth sewn shut

Slamming myself around in my cage wanting to break free

Forcing this smile isn’t worth it anymore

Force feeding you this happiness isn’t working any more

Pretending that I could feel

Lieing to your face saying I Love You

Wishing I could live a normal life

Walk among you breathing living

All my demons are going to get me

Hoping to drink myself dead

Knowing that all that lies a head is the end of a gun and a morgue

All the lights go out and the world pauses

Painfully descriptive. Well done! The bit about banging around in your cage spoke to me!

brilliant, sounds JUST last the past weekend, which has pushed me into a complete breakdown... the drinking started fun, but turned ugly... like me.
