TIme Fled

By Little_Zombie

 Time ticks away

From us all                                             Begging

                                                                                     To let it return

But we all have grown ancient in our ways

We are no more children now

We have fled from the mind set of freedom

Locked within our own head

Prisoners to no one but us

Time ticks a way

Crying to let it turn back

The clocks rewind

                     The world spins back

Let thy be children once more

In the time of youth

The age will no more matter

Lost time is like lost money, you can never get it back, or so they say, good luck with Father Time!
