Forgetting to Breath

By Little_Zombie

 My breath

Stolen by no one

But me

Falling beneath the surface

The darkness claiming my soul

My blood freezes over

When I think I’m fine

I find out it’s all a hallucination

I'll cut my wings off

 lock myself In a cage

Take away my freedom

I don’t have the right’s to be here

I lefted you drowning

To fend for yourself

I’m not worth the air

You breath

I found something elusive about this poem. Something you're not saying. But I think that's what makes it interesting. I enjoyed the "Cut off my wings" part. It was like a double lock on a 12 inch locked concrete reinforced safe. You cut your wings off and threw away the key, just in case.
