They didn't lie when they said the truth was ugly.

It's not jealously that keeps me from being your friend anymore
It's reproach
Understanding
Acceptance
I don't hate you,
I despise you
Disdain you
Scorn you
I'm better than you and I know
I love it, I cherish it
It's just one more reason to laugh at you
It's not that I'm conceited
It's just that I'm no longer denying the truth
And it's not my jealousy of you that made me write this
