Mind Rain
By AdorkablePsycho
Can we see beyond the rage
of a time
that's forgotten where to
go
to find the love
that's vanishing from the depths
of
heart's content?
When the lives we've consumed
have left us unforgiven,
speaking in tongues,
clinging to the lost.
When all begin to
sleep,
when pain is out salvation,
when our dreams are explicit
enough
to think true thoughts.
I stare into your eyes,
held
there by your vacant expression.
I know now the answer,
this
is not love you give me, but death.

Cold... very cold and to a grave point. I find myself fascinated with the eery winds I envision during this piece. Great craftsmanship.
