Don't Judge

Why are people so quick to judge? It doesn't make sense in my eyes; doesn't everyone deserve a fair chance? Just because  someone is different doesn't mean his/her heart is. So the gothic kids wear black. What's the big deal? It's not like they plan to set everything on fire or anything. Leave them alone. So someone is a little bit smarter so he/she gets labeled a nerd or a geek? Is that fair? Did you give them a chance to tell their side of the story? And if someone hurts his/herself... Did you watch while they fell apart? Did you add to the problem? If someone takes his/her own life are you gonna cry if you didn't take the time to get to know them? Did you stand on the sidelines while that person cried, watching him/her with no remorse, just happpy it wasn't you? So you make fun of that person because they had trouble taking everything life had thrown at them... Then you find out that that person put a bullet through their own brain... And you realize then that you could've been a friend and reached out a helping hand... But now it's too late... DON'T LET IT BE TO LATE! Find the person that needs you, that needs someone, anyone! Be there for them, don't be  the  one that causes them more heartache. Don't judge someone before you've seen their side of life, and don't hate someone just because they're different. You never know, the person you think is the weirdest or scariest could be gone, or possibly even... Your best friend... So take time to see someone's life through their eyes. It can make a world of difference in the end.
