Death The Silhouette (Rewritten Ending)
By Invisibledarkness
Angels falling from the sky,
Alone in a corner I sit and mourn.
Suddenly I see him,
The dark silhouette approaching,
He is
neither man nor beast...
He's simply death,
The grim reaper fiinding
his way to me,
Holding an out-stretched finger at my heart.
He
beckons me to follow him,
I want to refuse,
To tell him no...
But...
Something draws me nearer this dark figure,
A force
I can't escape...
I feel my soul levitate from my body,
I watch
myself from a distance.
Death standing in front of me,
His face
hovering above me...
I reach for my own body as...
As I see death
raising his scythe above his own head...
My soul screams out as my
body kneels motionless...
Death looks at me and smiles,
His smile
composed of horror and thrill.
With a quick, relentless swing,
He slits my throat...
I watch from above as I bleed out.
Blood
covering the feet of death.
He says in a voice of eerie pleasure,
"This is how it has to be, for you,
And you alone,
Lost your
soul many years ago.
Iv'e been waiting from a distance,
Watching
with pleasure as you slowly fell apart."
He simply smiles that terrifying,
But inviting smile and walks away...
My soul trapped from pain as
I realize,
The corner I trapped myself in for so long...
Has
now become my eternal home...
This was death's idea of irony...
As once again...
Alone in a corner I sit and mourn,
But now
never to escape the lonelines that death's scythe brought me...
