Light or Dark

Dark clouds swirling overhead,
Lightning strikes the ground around
me,
A foot away in every direction.
I can't move.
I reach
forward,
I barely miss the next strike.
I wanna get out.
"Please...
Please!
PLEASE!!!
LET ME OUT!!!"
My breath now freezing.
It hurts to fill my lungs.
I hold my breath.
I can't take it
any longer.
I begin to breathe again,
It brings tears to my eyes.
I lay down,
The clouds begin to swallow everything around,
I
can see them moving closer.
My life is consumed in darkness,
I
begin to think.
Dark cannot exist without light,
So...
Am
I light,
Or am I dark?
