Mr. Sandman

By maliceman

Now I lay me down to sleep
       I'll spend hours counting sheep
If I should die before i wake
       Everybody celebrate...

Mr. Sandman send me a dream
It's no fun if no one screams
Dark and twisted, full of pain
Don't hate the player, hate the game....

Don't love me, I hate everyone
I'll break your heart just for fun
Mr. Sandman keep me dreaming
Now she whimpers, soon she'll be screaming

Some well-turned phrases and a feeling of insignificance, terror, and sadism all rolled into one. Nice write and neat.
