The Angel's Cry

By Invisibledarkness

Once a guardian angel,

He cries violently for the world.

In a planet filled with anguish and despair,

Only a glimmer of light remains,

As he tries to see humanity the way it should be,

He breaks once again,

His wings once beautiful and bold,

Now reduced to nothing more than...

Nothing more than darkness,

As he looks to the world,

He weeps alone,

Waiting for a select few to come home.
