Reflecting on what could have been
I now must see the truth inside
Mistakes were made and then forgot
We were tested but never tried.

This light my path shall never cross
My eyes I close so not to see
The world is spinning pressing down
The darkness sets in upon me.

The sun, it shines above and bright
But in darkened room forever
I find myself in solitude
Waiting for the chance to sever.

The ties that bind are close at hand
These lies are never-ending

This is tearing me up in two

The time has come to face the truth
This dread I fear has not faded
