Sisyphus, Begin Anew

By Crush_With_Eyeliner

I believed
you
to be a god
in the first
century
of my
miserable
punishment.
No benefit
redeemed
herein.

When my stone
reaches the
low of the valley
(yet again)
I will cease
the struggle
and condemn
the unreachable
height.

I will place
my hands
on my hips
and sigh.

Find some
earthly freedom
and curse
your terrible
name.
