Rain Dancer
By The_Unspoken
And there he danced
until there was silence
until nothing was left
until the dawn rose swiftly above the night sky
he waited . . . for something better
but it never came
he was there in the morning
cold . . . curled up against the rocks
the lapping of the waves at his feet
then there he realized
there wasn't anything else
he might as well go back
dig up all those things he overlooked
and study them closely

I like the fact the overlooked objects were studied, and not joined... like there was still the hope of something better. Who knows, maybe I*m just crazy. Anyway, well written and welcome to DP
