Cadence
By Guillotine
if only I could write again;
pick up these withered oaks
clench
my fist
and scream blood
into all these fucking riddles.
I
would murder ink
to splash this page
with meaning,
strip
myself clean in its verse
spit these vulgarities
into ravens
feathers
and paint the world in its glory.
