Tic Toc

By Wiccad

The clock tics
The thunder rolls behind the dark sky
Sudden flash of light eminates my tiny world
Making me realize how small and insignificant I've become

The clock tics
Looking into the hazed formation in the mirror
Just a blur is what I see
Starring blankly at who was me

The clock tics
Clouded are my thoughts tonight
My judgement over taken by such clouds
Screaming little fragments of my heart die

The clock tics
Time has been wasted
Bitter are the memories... I can still taste it
Flowing through the veins and hardening the arteries

The clock tics
Narcotics prevent my insignificant  thoughts
The pain within..... it never stops
Heavily sedated and yet I still hear it

The clock tics
Crying out in frustration and pain
Everyday without change
I cannot think of anyone else to blame
Kill these things entering my brain

The clock tics............silence
