Welcome Home -Elizabeth-

By soldier

I haven't seen your face in a while
I almost forgot what you look like
You ran away to be alone
After that my love died

I watched my life shatter
Into a million pieces in my hands

Welcome home Elizabeth
But you cannot stay
You've been gone for too long
   -It's been soo long
My feelings have changed

I remember the days we spent together
Then you left me in my world of hurt
I forgot what happiness feels like
And I'll never feel the same

I moved on to someone new
I have a new found love

Welcome home Elizabeth
Do you think you can stay
You went away for too long
   -It's been soo long
My feelings have changed

You said you loved me
But why did you leave
You left only pain inside of me
And hate in my memories

Welcome home Elizabeth
But you have to go away
You left me alone for too long
   -It's been soo long
My feelings have changed

I wish it would have never changed
But nothing can ever stay the same
Welcome home
