The Circle
By charliebrown
Flesh eats flesh
From mounds of bones,
Some lay dead,
While
others moan.
They fill their bellies
Good and stout,
A heart still pumps,
Rip it out.
Vultures prey
On
half dead skin,
The circle meets
Then starts again.

AHH. Shivers again. Dead things about and around and even possibly in. Well written though. I absolutely breathed the stanza, "A heart still pumps, Rip it out." Which is probably what gave my creeper ass the chills. I liked it. Moar.

Very nice. Short, but a good read. It flowed so well and it made me shiver. I've never seen the circle of life played out in such a gruesome way before. I guess it is unforgiving. Write on.
