Like you

By Stricken

I want to be like you
Its so silent underground

I can feel you in snowflakes
of your love that has fallen

I can sense your footsteps
That are all but forgotten

Its not your thoughts that linger here
Its the hearts that wish to hear

You whisper in the wind
Although I feel like giving in

But I only wish to be like you

I found serenity in the memory. Peaceful but aching. An interesting read.
