Let it Rain Pt2

By soldier

I remember the day
they took you away
you looked so beautiful in your casket
it made me wonder how long the pain lasted
the angels are weeping
for this angel is now sleeping
I feel like I failed you
when you died I wish I could've held you

and now the rain falls

let it rain
falling from my hands
let it rain
I'll never see you again

I feel like I was forsaken
and my life will be taken
I spend my time dwelling in the past
she's never coming back
my flesh is left to rot alone
I wish it could be undone
I will never be the same
and only her memory remains

so let it rain

let it rain
falling from my hands
let it rain
I'll never see you again

I'll share my grave with you

I live for the day
they come to take me away
peaceful in my casket
for the time the pain lasted
worms crawl through my skin
and I will never be whole again
I remember the day
they took you away

and it rained

let it rain
falling from my hands
let it rain
I'll never see you again
