I knew

By soldier

it was perfect
a piece of serenity
a handful of happiness
taken from me

I shouldn't
I should have

I should have known
the joy would not last
a piece of perfection
ripped from my grasp

I knew it from the start
as I planned you tore it all apart

you destroyed
what we created
I thought it was forever
I was sadly mistaken

I shouldn't
I should have

I should have saw
but my eyes were blind
I'm not to blame
you crossed that line

I knew it from the start
as I planned you tore it all apart

I shouldn't
I should have

I should have killed you
I should have hit the heart
I should have murdered you
I should have ripped you apart

I knew it from the start
as I planned you tore it all apart

I'll share my grave with you
