Depressions End

By Wiccad

 It is benevolent and everlasting
Like being slowly poisoned
Gradually consuming you from the inside out

Burning holes, leaving thick sludge and scars
Thickening with every dose
You can feel your throat close

Eating away all importance
You struggle to get out of its hold
It comes from everywhere and nowhere

Always running but unable to gain ground
Feeling tired and exhausted
Lost in it's  darkness

You allow engulfment
Too tired, can't run
Quickly lost is your control

You feel it taking over
You breathe it in
And breathe again, and breathe again

Stop.........................
