Worrying about the things
A 5 year old worries about
Do I have enough toys?
Is my tv show on?
Is my friend home to play with?
Will mommy read my favourite story?
I'd like to be 5 years old right now
And cuddle in mom or dad's arms
Knowing I'm safe from harm
Nothing is stronger than my daddys arms
I'd like to be 5 years old right now
Never pondering adult things
Always looking thru rose coloured glasses
And finding joy in everyday dreams
I'd like to be 5 years old right now.
