1,024 Miles To Arizona

By DescendingDown

Anticipating contorting bittersweet sins
Lingering intellectual desires
A hunger for it
Pulsing inside me
Yearning for that unfathomable connection
Miles deep in my subconscious
Ravage me
While you siphon idealistic beliefs through my skin
In every fiber of my being
Fingers sliding
Grasping dampened, aching flesh
A melting fusion
Of lust
& submission

Something about this. It's dramatic, as DP said, and it shook me to the core. I love it.

A strange, nerdy part of me wants to say "shouldn't that be 2^10 Miles?" The actual content of the poem shut that right up though, it's a very well described dramatic snapshot. Scholar
