the first words of the day.

By WhoIAM

after a long night
touring the city
drinking under barroom lights
my first words the next day
are often jibberish.
a hangover speaking
more so then the wind produced
from my lungs

after a long night
of relaxing
reading books perhaps
the first words i utter
in the morning
are average
clear and composed
cheerfully mundane

after a long night
of engaging conversation and sex
being woken
by the morning
my first words
are often nothings,
"beautiful alarm clock you have there"
or something of that nature.

i hardly ever notice the first words
i manage to belt out
on any given day.

haha.... funny how that happens... i liked the definitive and blatant shift in actions and the morning reactions though... i'm still giggling...
