Soul mate (draft)

By skully

We go together like black and leather
When the crack is good we’re under the weather
Coffee to my cigarette waking late afternoon
Though still in bed we could touch the moon

You were like childhood the best days spent
Can’t remember what happened or where it was we went
Entangled yet free no one else needed
Just you, the seed from which I grew

This much I know when you went my heart went
I’m ripped asunder now that we’re apart
Whoever said there is no soul mate
I turn round and say what the fuck do you know mate?
