The Paradox Called Me

By brokenbandagedbetter

I am an inconsistency, a contradiction, a discrepancy
I am a person of opposites, a paradox
I may say in one moment
I am beautiful
When in the very next instant utter
Except I am ugly
I am honest
Except I am a liar
I am kind
Except I am mean
I am smart
Except I am stupid
I am elegant
Except I am awkward
I am funny
Except I am serious
I am dependable
Except I am unreliable
I am drunk
Except I am sober
I am happy
Except I am depressed
None of this means anything,
Except that you shouldn't believe what you hear about me,
Least of all that which I say myself

Something that's been a bit overdone. But if it feels right then I guess one must write. I would have liked to see some more creativity tying this together, aside from just the paradoxical line thing. alright, just the same.
