Transcedental Musings Drowned in Snowflakes

By Mathesix

Upon the pillow stained with each shed tear
That spells the aching discord and sings
My tormented lament.
The same stale memories atrophied in anticipation's pallor
Exhaled in an Autumn of frozen breaths

Like crystal vines entwined at the feet of heathens
We were three steps away from a midnight dream
Perched on the verdant fall of an eyelid's half-open idea
Kissing alive the animations of waxed poetic flesh

Awake the vacant promise esoteric
Drifting unbound through the ethereal seam
Lit on a moon-drenched sea to part my lips
And wash away the guilt neverlasting
Fashioning a fasting friendship with a listless wish
To draw the fading irony from a butterfly kiss

Kinetic canvas convergence of a cross and a dream
It seemed simple, this planar plan
Pronounced upon the prophet's palm

Our star-crossed fates aligned
Two paces past the racing skylines and
Whirlwind clouds of a heartbeat pacing and
Facing faint fears played
From an echo's collapse

-This fallen figure, my faded silhouette-
-This broken trigger, my final regret-

*Si vis pacem, para bellum*
