Blackest

By skully

Rewrite

The blackest thing
Only just after dusk
A darkening room
Just you and me
The time
Can’t come soon enough
Shouldn’t be here
Yet drawn and tortured
You! You! You!
You disgust me
Enthral me
Like forgotten gods
Your not real
Or are you?

Rich like leather
Or better a feather
Ensconed in
Pain drenched pleasure
Tied to the rocking chair
Sinking not floating
Falling gladly
That wretched monkey
Saw you
Down there
Width of a hair
Who are you?
But the artist who drew you

Too late for prayer
I cook the spoon
You pull the plunger
Ecstasy awaits
A moment
Then all is one
Forever or never
Its gone
All gone
I thought I knew you
Your one of the best
Blessed
Forbidden love
And the rest
This bird
Never knew
So this bird
Never flew

Kill me
Yet kiss me
Arouse me
Then douse me
Confuse me
Then answer me
Confound me
Then find me
Promise it all
Then take it away
My sweet paradox
Its not allowed
It’s too loud
Deafened I sing
I sing
And you’ll hear
I swear
