I Do

By Argentum

V1

I woke up today,
And I got dressed for you.
Put on my best cologne;
It's the least a man can do.

Pinned a white rose on,
My jacket lapel too.
I'm doing my best today,
To be my best for you.

Chorus 1

I've been waiting all my life,
To spend forever with you.
to have you as my wife,
There's nothing I wouldn't do.

To be standing on your right,
When the preacher says "Do you...?"
My answer will be true...
I do.

Oh...
Oh baby, I do...

V2

Standing here waiting;
Waiting just for you.
Best man on my left,
Bridesmaids dressed in blue.

Both mamas cryin',
As the organist starts to play.
Your daddy takes you by the hand,
And you slowly walk my way.

Chorus 2

I've been waiting all my life,
To spend forever with you,
And as I take you as my wife,
Tears of joy flow free and true.

Looking into your eyes,
As the preacher says "Do you...?"
I smile and answer true...
I do...

Baby... You know I do.
