Picture this

By Omalleyjr

Close your eyes.
Listen to my voice.
Open you senses as I take you on a journey of the mind
Take a breath,
take it nice and slow.
Can you smell the perfume in the air?
Or the sweet sent of the flowers in the fields?
Open your ears.
Open them wide
listen to the sounds around you.
can you hear the waterfall in the distance?
Can you hear a voice?
the voice of the one you care about,
and the birds in the trees?
Open you eyes
look at the picture inside your head.
Look at the beautiful person in front of you,
as they stand waiting for you by the sand.
Hold out your arms.
Embrace them fully.
Can you feel their soft hair,
as it blows gently in the breeze?
Can you feel the softness of their skin,
as you run your fingers down their spine?
Open your thoughts as you continue to listen to me.
Take another look at them,
Do you notice their eyed twinkle in the sun?
Do you notice their lips trying to speak to you,
but nothing is coming out clear?
Reach out with your arms,
Get closer to them.
Go against all odds and don't look back.
this is what you know you want.
you need this person,
You want them.
you care about them to much to say.
So take hold and never let go.
Keep them in your arms,
and do as you feel is right
