Almost Angel

By addicted_angel

Almost angel
Come seeking repair
Find me in darkness
And make me feel fair

Speak to me swiftly
And put me at ease
Can you bring to me comfort
Whilst you quiet my pleas

Wounded soul hear me,
I came to you free
Now give me your hand
And together we’ll flee

My whisper so gently,
On your neck you will feel
These kisses placed softly
To let you know that I’m real.

Your words feel like wisdom,
So simple a plan
But how can this happen,
For I’m made only of man

And I an angel
Almost of grace
Willing to fall
For the vision of love on your face

So much power, fleeting, a glimpse, but beauty there nonetheless.. I hope you find your wings.
