Look Deeper

By Soulfire

A whirl of emotions, she is lost in confusion
Settling down is but a sick illusion
Thrown into reality, a girl growing up too fast
An adult among children, the outcast

Knowing pain all too well
She cries at night, but you could never tell
Always a smile to hide the pain
Working so hard to hide the shame

I am in your class, on the bus, and at the store
But you have never noticed me before
I hide behind my smile
Dying inside all the while

Reach out to me and be my friend
Because tonight just might bring my life's end

"I am in your class, on the bus, and at the store But you have never noticed me before". .one of the simplest pains of all, loneliness. . expressed in an awesome way though.. which makes this a great piece. .and one I can relate to completely

Reaching out to someone can be as simple as saying "Hey, I know things have been hard for you lately. I am here if you need me." Thanks for all the comments!! Love it!
