Say goodbye to the bored room or we were not meant to linger

By aquiouss

will you.......
bury my radiant smile in all your
oblong boxes where you hide.....
all of your most secret things

and...... relax your body into mine
for one last final kiss
like you've done
to the sun

(if I stared too long into tomorrow)

it is because I panicked I'd forget
you'd forget
and I lanced your touch like lace winged figures

ceramic eyes

fading like your smiles
dancing slowly like...
the lost

horrible truth
like how well you know
the cold furnace of my dark heart
I'd left to rot
with all the mistakes
I've made

paint cans

and capture my essence in quick,
violent truths

if my essence is worth words to you
let those words
enter my head in cursive
then die on your tongue
we were not meant to linger

Holy cow, that was great! I think the whole piece built upon itself into the crescendo of the final lines... Wonderful, precise use of language. Ciao, T/S Scholar

The fact that your poetry is not more viewed and prevalent is saddening. Read a few and plan on setting some time aside. You are a true artist; never forget.
