Being dead has made you lazy

By serenesavage91

 You haven’t burned the garbage,
There are dishes in the sink,
Mom feels lonely tonight,
Your brother does nothing but drink.
The dogs haven’t been played with,
And theyre really starting to stink,
But mostly thoughts of you hurt so bad,
We cant even think.
I can take out the trash,
Do the dishes and not even fuss.
Tell mom how much I love her,
Take his beer although he’ll cuss.
I can run with with the dogs,
And bathe away their smell,
Think of you from time to time,
Even though the pain is hell.
What I cannot do is,
Is take your place,
And your empty chair,
I cannot face.
Please come back home,
Give this pain chase,
Im not strong enough,
To be you in this place.
Being dead has made you lazy,
And im not strong enough,
To not go crazy..
