- "for some reason, the 7 lbs of flesh evoked "closest to your heart" could be a reference to the will smith movie and the 7 debts, or the original "pound of flesh" from Merchant of Venice where the Money Lender Shylock attempts to kill Antonio by demanding a rather specific forfeit.... not quite what was evoked in the poem, but it was a good ride"
