"The idea was to invoke the 'young' feeling, to make it a bit funny but to keep it somewhat clean while getting my point across. That was the one part I was most hesitent writing - almost anti the point of the rest of the poem. But it does bring out the point that they are flaunting it, they are advertising that that is what they want... As for the 'real question' that is what I personally struggle with as a young guy with values (in my low 20's at this point). If that behavior is what is expected out of parents I could never be a dad - it is bad form and dangerous to the child in my opinion. So yes I think it is necessary to instill a form of values and a different thing for very young women to attach their self-esteem to but it is ultimatly the parents that must at least start the process."
